For this trick the following materials are required:
Materials
2 of. of boric acid
1 onion
1/2 Glass of wheat flour
c/n of Water
Procedure
First, we remove the skin from the onion and cut it into several small pieces.
Then, we place each pieces in the lids where we also add a little borax, flour and water.
To finish, we place each lid in strategic places where the cockroaches will pass.
Why borax?
It is a natural alkaline compound, a precursor to boric acid. Especially, its fundamental use is as an antiseptic and fungicide plug. For home use, we can also get it in stores in tablet form to eliminate insects such as cockroaches.
Trick 2: Sugar and baking soda
Materials
3 tbsp. of sugar
2 tbsp. baking soda
4 Plastic container lids
Procedure
To begin, mix both ingredients in a plate.
Then, we place small portions in each lid and leave them inside the kitchen as well as outside.
Recommendation:
According to the National Pesticide Institute, it recommends that the best way to keep cockroaches away from the kitchen is to keep the floors spotless and disinfected.
In fact, we should look for cracks and possible leaks that are near the kitchen, where insects leave their eggs, excrement or skin.
