Ingredients
▢1/4 cup mayonnaise
▢2 tablespoons ketchup
▢1 tablespoon mustard
▢1 teaspoon white vinegar
▢1/2 teaspoon garlic salt more or less to taste
▢1/2 teaspoon chili powder more or less to taste.
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and whisk to combine.
Taste and add additional salt or vinegar depending on tastes.
Spoon immediately onto burgers or store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Tips & Notes:
You can swap the garlic salt for garlic powder and just add salt to taste, if that’s what you usually keep on hand.
Use dill pickle juice in place of the vinegar if you prefer that flavor. Add pickle relish for more of a thousand island vibe.
Add a teaspoon or two of prepared horseradish or sriracha for a little kick.
This sauce takes a good burger and makes it great, but don’t just limit yourself to smashburgers. It’s good on a classic, thicker burger or as a dip for french fries.
