Ingredients:
3 cups of favorite cookie crumbs (e.g. chocolate chip, graham crackers, Oreos)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
1 cup preferred filling or toppings (e.g. whipped cream, chocolate ganache, fruit, nuts)
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine cookie crumbs with melted butter and granulated sugar (if using), mix until it looks like wet sand.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a cake or springform pan to form an even layer. Use the back of a spoon or measuring cup to press crumbs down.
Once crust is formed spread your desired filling or toppings evenly over it – you could layer on whipped cream; pour over chocolate ganache; arrange fresh fruits or nuts.
Place in refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours until firm and set.
When chilled remove from pan, slice into portions and serve. Enjoy your no bake cookie cake!
