Preparation
Disassembling the scissors : First, carefully disassemble the scissors using the pliers. Remove any broken or loose parts of the handle.
Cleaning : Clean the surfaces you are going to repair thoroughly to ensure that the glue adheres properly. Use hot water to remove residue and dry the pieces well.
Repair
Apply glue : Apply a generous amount of strong glue to the surfaces of the broken handle. Make sure you cover all areas that need to be repaired.
Put the pieces together : Firmly press the broken handle pieces together. Hold the pressure for a few minutes to make sure the glue starts to take effect.
Tape Attachment : Wrap the repaired area with tape to hold the pieces in place while the glue dries. Let sit for at least 24 hours.
