1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk (more if needed)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan or tube pan.
Prepare the Batter: In a large bowl, cream the butter and both sugars together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the sour cream and vegetable oil until well combined.
Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Layering the Cake: Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the cinnamon evenly over the batter. Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon layer and spread evenly.
