Instructions:
Dough:
First, in a large bowl, combine the wheat flour and salt.
Then add the cold butter and mix with your fingertips until it forms a grainy mixture.
Now add the iced water little by little, stirring until you have a homogeneous dough.
Then shape the dough into a ball, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
Filling:
Using a bowl, combine the grated mozzarella cheese, eggs, diced ham, milk, cream, salt and black pepper.
Then set aside.
Assembly:
We will, preheat the oven to 356 °F or (180 °C).
Then roll out the dough on a floured surface and line a round pan with a hole in the middle.
Then pour the filling over the dough and distribute it evenly.
Brush the edge of the dough with the egg yolk mixed with the milk.
Finally, bake for about 40 minutes, or until the dough is golden, and the filling is firm.
