Freezing Fresh Herbs in Olive Oil

Chop the Herbs: Start by finely chopping fresh herbs like basil, parsley, rosemary, thyme, or any other herb you prefer.
Fill Ice Cube Tray: Place the chopped herbs into the compartments of an ice cube tray, filling each about halfway.
Add Olive Oil: Pour olive oil over the herbs, filling the tray almost to the top of each compartment.
Freeze: Place the tray in the freezer until the cubes are solid.
Store: Once frozen, pop the herb cubes out of the tray and store them in a freezer-safe bag or container. Label the container with the type of herbs and the date.
Use: Whenever you’re cooking, simply pop a cube into your pan for a quick and easy flavor boost.
