Don’t Waste Apple Peels: Transform them into Apple Cider Vinegar!

Here’s a simple method to give new life to those apple peels:

Collect Apple Peels: Save your apple peels or any other apple scraps.

Prepare the Jar: Sterilize a glass jar and fill it more than halfway with the apple peels.

Create the Mixture: For each liter of lukewarm water, mix in a tablespoon of honey.

Combine and Store: Pour the water and honey mixture into the jar, ensuring the peels are completely submerged. Cover the jar with a cloth and secure it with a rubber band.

Fermentation Process: Store the jar in a warm place (about 20 degrees Celsius) for about 4 weeks. Check weekly and remove any white film that forms on the surface.

After 4 weeks, your homemade apple cider vinegar will be ready. Transfer it to glass bottles and keep it refrigerated. Use it for various seasonings and enjoy its health benefits.
