Crockpot Beef Tips

Once the meat is browned, pour the beef tips into a crockpot that has been sprayed with cooking spray.

Add beef broth to the hot skillet and turn the heat down to about medium. Season with the onion soup mix, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well being sure to scrape all the browned bits off the bottom of the skillet.

Beef Broth Mixture

Let this beef broth mixture bubble for a few minutes and pour it over the beef tips in the crockpot.

Lastly, put the lid on the crockpot and cook on low for about 6 hours.

Serve Beef Tips

Once the meat is finished cooking, I like to make a gravy using the juices from the crockpot. To make beef gravy from the juices in the crockpot, I combined 2 tbsp of butter and 2 tbsp of flour in a pan over medium heat. Stir together until the flour is combined with the butter and it starts to thicken. Cook for a couple of minutes stirring. Pour in the juice (about 1 1/2 cups) from the crockpot into the pan. Stir until it thickens and is gravy!

Once the gravy is ready it’s time to eat! We served this with mashed potatoes, gravy, and some corn!
