Chiffon Cake with Creamy Topping and White Chocolate
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
2 1/4 cups cake flour
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar, divided
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
7 large eggs, separated
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup water
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar.
For the Creamy Topping:
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
For the Garnish:
1 cup grated white chocolate or sweetened shredded coconut.
