Keyword: Cheeseburger sliders, ground beef
Servings: 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • Kinder’s Caramelized Onion Seasoning (any burger seasoning will work)
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder
  • White American cheese slices
  • Colby Jack Cheese slices
  • Pickles
  • Thousand Island Dressing or homemade burger sauce 1/2 cup mayo, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/8 cup mustard, 1 TBSP sweet relish
  • 2 TBSP of melted butter
  • Sesame seeds
  • 1 package (12 count) King’s Hawaiian Rolls

Instructions

  • Cook your ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat with a chopped onion.
  • Season the beef with a little bit of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Kinder’s Caramelized Onion seasoning and let cook until browned.
  • Drain any extra grease from the skillet.
  • Slice your King’s Hawaiian rolls in half and put the bottom of the rolls in a greased baking dish or on a sheet pan. *Pro tip, if you keep your knuckles on the cutting board as you cut your rolls will be cut evenly!
  • Add a layer of white American cheese to the bottom buns.
  • Add the ground beef and onion mixture on top of the cheese.
  • Drizzle some thousand island dressing or burger sauce over the top of the beef before adding another layer of cheese.
  • Add on the Colby Jack cheese and top with pickles. *The second layer of cheese is optional, but it does help hold the sliders together once the cheese has melted!
  • Put the tops of the slider rolls on and brush them with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top.
  • Bake these at 350 for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is nice and melted!
  • Enjoy!
