Cake inspired by Elvis Presley

3 cups of powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract for the frosting.

3 cups of chopped pecans

Directions:

1️⃣ Make the Cake:

Make a white cake following the instructions on the package in the pan of your choice. After baking, let the cake cool down and make holes all over it using the tip of a wooden spoon.

2️⃣ Pineapple Blend:

In a pot, mix the crushed pineapple (with its juice), 1 cup of sugar, and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract. Heat until boiling, stirring from time to time. Pour the warm pineapple mixture over the cooled cake, making sure it goes into the holes.

3. Cream cheese frosting:

In a big bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and butter until they are smooth. Slowly mix in the powdered sugar, the rest of the vanilla extract, and 2 cups of chopped pecans until everything is well mixed. Put this icing on top of the cake soaked in pineapple.

4️⃣ Decoration:

Put the last cup of chopped pecans on top of the cake.
