Grandma’s Classic Brisket Pot Pie

 

For as long as I can remember, my grandmother has been perfecting this comforting pot pie, rich with the flavors of tender brisket and warm spices. This recipe is a cherished family tradition that brings warmth to any table.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound cooked brisket, shredded
  • 2 jalapenos, finely chopped (seeds removed for a milder taste)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 pie crusts (homemade or store-bought)
